1) Yes I have had this happen to me before it was just a few nights ago when I was watching are you smarter than a fifth grader, it asked much bigger was the earth compared to the moon. The choices were one half, one third and one fourth when I first read the question I thought the answer was one half but it turned out to be one fourth after I heard the correct answer it all came back to me that the answer was one fourth.

2)My first memory is when I was five or six and my sisters pet spider got out of his cage and climber up my dads shirt sleeve and my dad freaked out and flicked the spider off of his sleeve and the spider started running towards mt mom and she jumped in terroe onto the back of the couch and was clinging to it for dear life. I’m about ninety eight percent certain that that event happened that way.

3) I think contextual fluctuation is a good explanation for infantile amnesia.

1) If you were to change rooms your memory of the final exam would get worse because a more inward focus of attention during encoding reducues or eliminates incidenatal context effects.

2)If the professor had used a multiple choice question instead the result would have been the same as if he had used the exam question because the rule of the context – dependant memory goes for multiple choice exams as well.

1) A tomato is a fruit but from my own knowledge I’m not sure why but according to online sources it’s because tomatoes have seeds and therefore they’re considered a fruit.

2) I would say a coconut is a vegetable because it has a shell.

3) the differences between fruits vegetables and nuts are that fruits have seeds,vegetables are a plant part of a flower such as the root or stem and nuts are technically considered fruits because they have seeds but they’re called nuts because they’re matured plant ovaries.

If I were reviewing for a test over this chapter {chapter 4} I would use the method of expanding retrieval because testing myself after a small pause helps me memorize and recall better than any other method that I’ve tried.

1}I think making a graph is better than outlining notes because it isn’t too much to study at once and the graph makes itt easier to lean the material.

2{ Yes I could see using this to study because this way of studying would keep me from becoming overwhelmed with all of the material that I’d have to study.

3} No I don’t think there are any classes that this method would work for well at least for this semester.

1) I have been in situations like that before, for example, when someone asks me to remember something that happened to me in 2006 I start to tell them things that happened to me in 2008 but my mind believes that the events that happened to me in 2006 actually occured in 2008.

2) I think that this is an example of retroactive interface.

1) I think the robot is a good simulation of human memory because once it was explained to the robot what it was to do, it achieved the task at hand with littke mistakes.

2) The robot appears to have sematic memory because the robot does what is told to do after the task was explained to it which is what semantic memory is.

3) the robot appears to have computer knowledge.

4) I would say the robot is efficient at its task because it removed all of the coke cans an a couple of pepsi cans out of the entire group of cans, which is similar to the way a human being would remove the cans.

1) Stimulus control is a true communication among groups of people, animals and also individual people and animals. Yes I think stimulus control explains human behavior well because humans will follow every stimulus control whether it be to train or untrain a control, as long as the stimuli are consistent and there is good communication between the trainer and the trainee.

2) two ways of dealind with a ten year old child who mistrears the family dog are to train an incompatable behavior and method eight.

I thought the article about spanking children in school was opinionated on the schoolboards side because the school didn’t paddle any child without prior permission from the parents first. I think if people ;have a problem with children getting paddled while they’re in school than the school should stop sending permission slips home with the children for the parents to sighn and just ban paddling in schools altogether.
